Dad Days part 1

I despise it.
It sits and does nothing day in and day out.
I have noticed at night it is most active the..Child.As many call them.
Pff. It is lucky I have given it any amount of care.
I would have let it starve to death.
Or let it get devoured in that empty house by the same creature that devoured it's mother.
However I have decided to care for it.
Not because I was worried about it or anything.
Why would I?It is none of my business who lives or dies.
I merely am around to feed off the energy death gives as others mourn...

I noticed she had no one to mourn her death if it did happen.

The mom.Mauled beyond belief by a Lycanthrope.It was a shame really.Her mother was gourgous...
Her father?
Judging by all the pictures...
There was no father.The father was quite literally out of the picture...

I found the child curled up in its crib...crying...starving.It must have been without food for a week.
The child was young...she was premature see?
How can I tell?
Well,the size....the size is a large indicator...
She struggles to breathe sometimes..
And some old documents on the mother's desk stated she was born at 6 months.
Three too early.

Try as I might though.I could not find its name...All I saw was a J and the last name Gage.
I guessed her-it's name was Jennifer.However,I have given her-it.A middle name of Belladonna.
In Germany we had these berries called nightshade.Small yes.
But eaten in large amounts causes death.
The mother's deep black hair in the photos made me think of something else.
If I do recall. Belladonna in Italian roughly translates to "pretty woman"...

I should not put much thought into her.....I mean.It...
Currently it lies cuddled up in my fur.....

At worse she will distract me from my own survival.
